五坊村是武东镇下辖的行政村，村名取自合并前的五个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

魏坑、鸦鹊塘、罗坑、崩蓬下、张坊，这五处原来各自成村，后来合并，便以「五坊」命名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，五处合为五坊，设五坊保，属中正乡。土地革命时期，这里建立过红色政权「乡苏」。[3]

1943年，中共闽西特委派员章荫木与邱锦才在此长期驻扎，领导当地革命斗争；闽西特委交通站站长林友谦一家有四人为革命牺牲。1949年6月，中正区人民政府和村人民政府在鸦鹊塘秘密设立，直至解放。[3]

建国初曾并入他乡。1952年设五坊乡，隶武东区；1955年改隶上中区。1961年成立五坊大队，归丰田公社，1965年改归武东公社；1984年设五坊村委会，属武东镇。[3]

2022年12月，五坊村被福建省绿化委员会命名为「森林村庄」（2022年度）。[1]
