陈埔村是武东镇下辖的行政村，也是全镇的集镇所在地，原称陈坑。[1][5]

地名由来[edit]

此地原是一处大坑，早年陈姓人居于其中，所以叫作陈坑，后来才名陈埔。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初属中心区。1932年，中共武平县委和县革命委员会曾在此组建，并设有武东区苏和陈坑乡苏。[3][4]

实行保甲制度后，此地设东山、连胜两保，1942年并为陈埔保，都属中正乡。建国初，黄埔保并入，成为陈埔村；1952年分出陈埔、黄埔两个乡。[3][4]

此后陈埔一度划入十方等地，1961年成立陈埔大队，属武东公社；1984年设陈埔村委会，属武东镇。[3][4]

2024年1月，陈埔村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
