武东镇是福建省龙岩市武平县下辖的镇，位于县境东部，东面与上杭县湖洋镇为邻，距县城30公里。镇域面积138平方公里，辖20个行政村，集镇所在地为陈埔村。[1][2]

镇内有烟叶、水稻、脐橙等种植业，以及「福建白兔」这一地方畜禽品种。林宝树、林默涵等人物与武东有关。[1][3][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，宋代这一带设乡，统辖六保，明代属旧郡里。民国时期设六甲、中正两个区，后并为第三区，末期设中心、六甲两个乡，辖23个保。[4]

1932年2月，中共武平县委和县革命委员会曾设在陈坑，即今陈埔村一带，当时武东一带也设有苏维埃组织。[4][8]

人民公社时期，武东的行政归属几经分合，1965年并为武东公社。1984年起称武东乡，2014年才改为镇。[4][5]

地理环境[edit]

镇域东面与上杭县湖洋镇为邻，南面连接十方镇，西面与城厢镇接壤，北边和永平、中堡两镇相接。集镇所在地陈埔村距国道5公里，距高速10公里，离高铁「十方站」约15公里。[1]

镇内耕地2.88万亩，林地14.57万亩。其中3.34万亩山林列入梁野山自然保护区，镇域同时属于梁野山城乡一体协调发展试验区，是其拓展的重点之一。[1]

经济[edit]

烟叶、水稻和脐橙被镇政府列为三大支柱产业，其中烟叶以雪茄烟为主，全县雪茄烟种植面积以武东最大。[1]

2014年4月，「福建白兔」被收入《中国畜禽遗传资源志》，并进入国家优良地方畜禽品种名录；武东是这一品种的主要产地。[1]

镇政府介绍中提到镇内有「飞地工业」项目，武东籍的不少人在外从事空压机行业。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，武东镇列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」名单。2024年1月，武东镇被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」。[2]

2024年度，武东镇获评龙岩市委、市政府「招商引资集体三等功」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

列为武平县第九批县级文物保护单位的，武东镇内有四处：「林默涵故居」为其一，另有「林伟将军故居」与「林宝树墓地」，以及「陈埔中书第」。[2]

著名人物[edit]

林宝树（1673年—1734年），字光阶，号梁峰，清代举人，客家民俗学家，编撰了客家方言蒙学教材《一年使用杂字》。他出生于武平县袁畲白泥田，即今武东镇袁畲一带。[6]

林默涵（1913年—2008年），本名林烈，笔名雪邨，武平县人。他在中宣部与文化部都担任过副职，并任中国文联党组书记与副主席。镇政府的镇情介绍把他列为武东籍人物，并提及武东籍的林伟、廖步云等人。[1][7]
