封侯村位于东留镇北部，是东留「上四乡」中的第一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清光绪年间此地称硿头。光绪末年，县城一位举人到此避难，嫌硿头二字不雅，遂改名封侯。[1]
明清两代此处设硿头乡；建国后曾称封侯乡，之后转为大队，1984年改设村委会，隶属东留镇。[1]
文化[edit]
国家林业和草原局于2019年12月公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单中，有封侯村。省农业农村厅在2022年10月把封侯村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2025年11月，封侯村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
