历史沿革[edit]
早先由钟姓人在此开基，村因姓氏得名，取名中坊；其后钟姓人逐渐绝迹，外地肖姓人迁入。[1]
建国前后曾设中坊乡，之后有中坊大队，1984年以后改为村委会，隶属东留镇。[1]
文化[edit]
2012年，龙岩市综治委授予中坊村「无诉无访村」称号。2022年8月，龙岩市农业农村局把中坊村列为「龙岩市2022年市级一村一品专业村」，产品为客家米酒。2024年1月，中坊村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
