园丁村位于武平县城厢镇，地处县城郊区，距县城约5公里，在梁野山南麓，属环绕梁野山的特色村落之一。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名由“园墩”一词谐音演化而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时设园墩保，隶属万安乡与城厢镇。建国初设园墩村，1952年改为园墩乡，同属城厢区。1958年撤区并乡时划归城厢镇；公社化时建园墩大队，此后隶属城郊、城关公社。1983年改属城厢公社，1984年设园丁村委会，归城厢镇管辖，此名延续至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村中以花卉种植为主导，产品销往北京、上海、广东、厦门、漳州等地。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

百度百科列有十里花廊景观带，村里依托花卉产业发展乡村旅游。[2][3]

文化[edit]

中央文明委授予本村「第五届全国文明村镇」称号，时在2017年11月。2020年12月，本村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予园丁村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年11月，本村列入「2022年福建省“金牌旅游村”」名单。2026年1月，本村入选「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
