东云村位于武平县城厢镇，地处城乡结合部，距县城约3公里，县城通往永平的省道205线从村中穿过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年撤区并乡时，本村归万安乡；公社化时设东云大队，之后先后隶属城郊、城关公社。1983年改属城厢公社。[1]
1984年设村委会，归城厢镇管辖，村名延续至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予东云村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2023年1月，本村列入2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]
