凹坑村位于武平县城厢镇，离县城约5公里，北边与县工业园区相连，三条河流环绕全村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自地势：村子处于坑凹之中，地面较平，属盆地地貌。[1]

民国时期设凹坑保，隶属城厢镇。建国初为凹坑村，1952年改设凹坑乡，同属城厢区。1958年划入城关镇，公社化时建凹坑大队，其后归城郊、城关公社管辖。1983年改属城厢公社，1984年设村委会，隶属城厢镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予凹坑村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2021年12月，凹坑村入选「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」名单。2024年1月，本村列入2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]
