灵通村是武平县城厢镇下辖的行政村，在县城西南约3公里处，地处武夷山脉的末端。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村西旧有一座寨，相传能显灵护民：遇盗匪攻打时寨身自行升高，盗匪退去后又落回原位，村子因此得名。[1]

民国时曾设灵通保。1984年改设村委会，归城厢镇管辖，村名延续至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年1月，灵通村获列为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
