城厢镇是福建省龙岩市武平县辖下的镇，镇域散布在县城四周，山麓一带属国家级自然保护区梁野山。镇内兼有农业、工业与旅游，县政府概况称本镇为武平的农业大镇、工业强镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

镇名取“坊”“厢”之义：古时城内称坊，近城称厢。唐代此地属南安镇，民国初年前后属县城区，苏维埃时期设城厢区，1940年为第一区，称城厢镇。[2][4]

1956年，城厢区的附城、西厢、七坊三乡划出另设城关镇，余下部分分设城关、城郊两个公社；1965年两社又合并为城关公社。1983年5月，城关公社的五个大队划归平川镇。[4]

1984年改称城厢乡，2012年5月3日撤乡设镇，更名为城厢镇。[2][4]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属亚热海洋性季风气候，地貌为低山丘陵。境内的非金属矿产有石英石、钾长石、高岭土、水晶石与膨润土。县政府概况称，全县唯一的地热资源在本镇。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

居民以汉族为多，日常多说客家话。县政府概况载，户籍登记约2.86万人，常住约3.8万人。[1]

经济[edit]

省级武平工业园区与不锈钢产业园区设于镇内，客都汇文化旅游综合体与龙洲商贸物流园也在此。[1]

交通方面，省道309线与211线、古武高速和武平大道经过本镇，各村人畜饮水工程也已覆盖全镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

梁野山景区是国家4A级旅游景区，景区主体在本镇东岗村一带，所在山脉为武夷山脉的南端，最高海拔1538.4米。景区的看点包括原生态景观，也有客家、畲族文化的背景和仙佛故事。[1][5]

县政府概况列出的千鹭湖景区也位于本镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，福建省爱卫办授予本镇「福建省卫生乡镇」称号，同月，本镇又入选「2020年福建省级森林康养小镇」。2021年4月，本镇获评「2020年度福建省乡村振兴重点特色乡（镇）」。2023年12月，本镇获命名为「2023年度福建省森林乡镇」。2023年1月与2024年1月，分别被确定为2022年度与2023年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」。2025年3月，本镇入选「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范乡镇」。[2]
