新礤村位于桃溪镇东南部，海拔295米，距武平县城42公里，汀江支流穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自下辖的定坊、礤下两个自然村。民国时期属桃溪二保，建国后归桃溪乡管辖。1961年，从原大队析出，另设新礤大队。1984年成立新礤村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村里山地占多数，茶园与林木相间，森林覆盖率较高。作为桃溪绿茶的主产区，村子在2008年后的三年里被龙岩市列为“一村一品”茶叶专业示范点。村里依托茶园建有生态绿茶公园，是一处生态旅游点。茶园间套种林木的做法，受到农林部门专家的肯定。[1]

文化[edit]

村子先后获得多项认定：2021年2月列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；同年10月由龙岩市农业农村局列为市级「一村一品」专业村（武平绿茶）；11月获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；12月入选「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。2023年12月，又入选「龙岩市2023年度乡村振兴示范村镇」名单；2024年2月列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2025年11月认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
