梧地村位于中堡镇西北部，海拔逾600米，离镇政府所在地10公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年吴姓人居于此，原称吴地；吴姓外迁后连姓人迁入，遂改称梧地。[3]

民国时为梧地保，隶上中乡；建国初并入互助村；1952年梧地重新单独立乡，隶上中区；1956年划入林助乡；1958年以后梧地大队隶林坊公社；1965年改归中堡公社；1984年设梧地村委会，属中堡镇。[2]

2021年10月，梧地村经龙岩市农业农村局认定为2021年市级「一村一品」专业村（象洞鸡）；同月，农业农村部将其列入第十一批全国「一村一品」示范村镇；2021年12月，获福建省确定为2021年度「一村一品」示范村（象洞鸡）。[1]
