朱坊村处在中堡集镇所在地，梁野山自然保护区的边缘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早先朱、吴两姓在此聚居，以朱姓居多，因而以姓氏命村，称朱坊；后来石姓迁入，朱、吴二姓逐渐消失，村名却保留了下来。[3]

民国时为上中乡的朱坊保，建国后隶中堡乡；1958年以后组建朱坊大队，归中堡公社；1984年设朱坊村委会，属中堡镇。[2]

2024年1月与2021年1月，朱坊村先后获授予2023年度、2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
