芳洋村位于武平县中堡镇东部，距中堡集镇7公里，山地海拔约300米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自周姓开基祖兄弟二人，两人各从自己名字中拿出一字，合成芳洋。[3]

民国时为中正乡的芳洋保；建国后与小岭、青迳、上济合为联四村，归武东区，之后历经几次分合；1963年芳洋与青迳从联四析出，另立芳洋大队；1984年设芳洋村委会，属中堡镇。[2]
