叶坑村位于十方镇南部，是镇的南大门，205国道穿村而过，东面与上杭县湖洋镇接壤。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早先这里是林深草密的山地，落叶与竹叶积得满地，地势低洼。明正德年间，钟发广由中赤迁居此地，取名“叶坑湖”，后来简称叶坑。[1]

民国时期此地为叶坑保，新中国成立初仍称叶坑村。1956年改设叶坑乡，1958年组建叶坑大队，1984年设立村委会，隶属十方镇。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年8月，龙岩市农业农村局把叶坑村认定为市级「一村一品」专业村，产品为蚕豆。2024年1月和2021年1月，叶坑村分别入选2023年度与2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]
