澄邦村位于岩前镇政府西南约7公里处，以农业和林业为主，东、西面与中赤乡接壤，南邻广东省蕉岭县。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村原是一条山坑，四周高山环绕，地势似有沉落，故称澄坑。因方言「澄」与「沉」同音，后改称澄邦。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，本村为澄邦保。新中国成立后称澄邦村，其后一度改作乡制，称澄邦大队。1984年设澄邦村委会，隶属岩前镇。[1]

自然资源[edit]

村境内森林资源丰富，有人工杉木林与毛竹林，并有大理石、石灰石、铁矿等资源。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
