宁洋村位于岩前镇北部，国道205线穿村而过，地处岩前、十方、象洞三个乡镇的结合部。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名初作「乳洋」，因方言中「乳」与「宁」同音，改称宁洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期这里称冷洋坊，之后设宁洋、羊背二保。建国后取名宁洋村，其后曾改设宁洋乡和宁洋大队。1984年设宁洋村委会，归岩前镇，地名保留至今。[1]

自然资源与文化[edit]

村内下辖葫芦桥、洋背岭两个自然村，境内有煤炭、石灰石、钼矿、锰矿等资源。[2]

博雅地名网称，村中有何仙姑之父何大郎的古墓，每年何氏后裔来村祭祀。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
