三河村离岩前镇政府所在地约7公里，东、西北面与象洞乡、十方镇、中赤乡接壤，南邻广东省蕉岭县，国道205线贯穿村境。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

传说村中原有三棵荷树、九株毛竹，故称三河九竹，后改称三河九曲。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地属宁洋保，建国初归伏虎乡。1958年人民公社化时组建三河大队，1984年设三河村委会，隶属岩前镇。[1]

自然环境[edit]

村境属亚热带海洋性季风气候，山地海拔约320米，拥有省级生态公益林。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
