迳田村位于岩前镇政府东北约4公里处，国道205线与永武高速公路岩前出口位于村境内。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

1952年，两个小村合并，各取一字，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地分设两个保，属岩前镇。建国初为两个村，归岩前区管辖；1952年两村合并，设迳田乡。1958年人民公社化后组建迳田大队，1984年设迳田村委会，隶属岩前镇。[1]

自然环境[edit]

村境属低山丘陵盆地，大迳溪流经境内，林地资源丰富，村内有锰矿资源。[2]

村内下辖9个自然村，主要农产品有茶叶、李子、烤烟、大豆与马铃薯。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
