地名由来[edit]
灵岩村早先叫「南安茶场」，是征收茶税的地方。村境内有南岩山洞，洞形像狮子，人称狮岩；村名取自狮岩前方的位置，即「灵岩」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代，此地属岩前里的岩门一带；崇祯年间，为提防盗匪，人们在此修筑了岩前城。民国年间，本地分为迎安、城安、翠丰、城东四个保，先归岩前区，后并入岩前镇的辖域。[1]
新中国成立初期称灵岩村，1952年改称岩前镇，同属岩前区。1955年划入岩象区，1958年撤区并乡，归岩前乡管理，公社化后改设灵岩大队。1961年一分为二，称新岩队与岩西队，1964年又合为灵岩大队。1984年改称灵岩村委会。[1]
自然环境[edit]
灵岩溪流经村中，村内有蛟湖，为天然泉水湖，面积6万多平方米。[2]
文化遗存[edit]
均庆寺位于村北门一带，始建于北宋乾德二年（964年）。灵岩道南楼建于1941年，岩前淇澳园建于清嘉庆十五年（1810年）。[3][4][5]
荣誉[edit]
2013年8月，灵岩村列入第二批中国传统村落名录。[6]
2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
2025年11月，被列为省级「一村一品」专业村，类型为乡村旅游。[1]
2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
