中山镇位于福建省武平县西南部，处在中山河国家湿地公园的核心区，离县城约11公里。唐宋时这里是武平的镇治、场治与县治所在，古称武溪源，素有“小京城”之美称。[1][4]

镇域内有永安桥、城中树德桥与太平岭相公塔三处省级文物保护单位，另有县级文物保护单位7处。[1][6][7]

历史沿革[edit]

唐玄宗开元二十四年（736年）前后此地已设镇，但博雅地名网的两页说法不一，一处记为武平镇，另一处记为南安镇。[4][5] 北宋淳化五年（994年）武平场升为武平县，中山镇原是升县前的镇治与场治，也是升县后最早的县治所在。[4] 明洪武二十四年（1391年）筑城并设武平千户所，当地俗称武所；嘉靖十九年（1540年）又在旧城的南北两面加筑新城。[5]

民国初年这里设武所区，1940年前后设中山实验乡，并以纪念孙中山的名义改称中山。[3][5] 苏维埃时期这一带隶属中山区，辖内十二个乡先后建立苏维埃政权。[5] 新中国成立后数次调整辖区，1958年设中山公社，1984年复设中山乡，1989年11月，中山乡的建制被撤销，换为中山镇。[2][5]

地理环境[edit]

镇境处武夷山脉南段，中山河自境内中游流过，该河被认为是韩江的上游。古代武平通往广东的水运曾经过此地，故有水路枢纽之说。[4] 镇域属亚热带季风气候，年平均气温约19.9℃，年降水量在1520至2130毫米之间。[4] 358国道穿镇而过，距漳武高速出口约5公里，距动车武平站约20公里。[1]

人口民族[edit]

镇内以汉族居民为主，人口约2万。镇里曾聚居108个姓氏，现有103个姓。[1][4] 镇内流行一种特殊方言，叫作军家话，镇因此被称为“百姓镇”和“军家方言岛”。[1]

文化[edit]

姓氏楹联是镇中的传统之一。元宵节有闹花灯的习俗，木偶戏与汉剧也是镇上的特色演出；饮食上，酿豆腐与十八子糕较有代表性。[1][4]

中山镇被命名为「中国民间（汉剧）文化艺术之乡」，并获评省级乡村治理示范镇与省劳动关系和谐示范乡镇。[1] 2014年2月，中山镇入选第六批中国历史文化名镇，同年7月又被确定为全国重点镇。2020年获第六届“全省文明乡镇”称号，2023年被命名为福建省卫生乡镇。[3][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内有省级文物保护单位3处，即永安桥、城中树德桥和太平岭相公塔；县级文物保护单位7处，文物点44处。[1][6][7]

镇内还有九围十八寨、九井十三庙、七鞭打猛虎等历史遗迹，另有一水三古桥。[1]

百家大院位于中山镇内，是海峡两岸融合发展的示范项目。园区内多为明清风格的古建筑，主题围绕姓氏文化与寻根谒祖展开，被称为可以住的博物馆。[8]

镇内历史文化景点还有武所古街、迎恩门，自然景观有中山河国家湿地公园；乡村旅游景点有松花寨生态茶园、“水墨阳民”与“三江太平”等。[1]
