兴南社区是武平县平川街道下辖的社区，位于县城中心地带，由原兴南村改设。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称取自兴魁里与南门城两处旧地名各一字。[1]

清代这里称魁星坊和人和坊，民国时期属魁星保，建国初为兴魁里和西安里，归附城镇管辖。1958年并入城南大队，1962年析出，另设兴南大队；1983年改为兴南村委会，隶属平川镇。[2]

2018年，兴南村改为兴南社区居民委员会，隶属平川街道。[2]
