七坊社区是武平县平川街道下辖的社区，位于县城区东北部，省道309线穿过社区境内，平川河从社区中间流过。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称的来历是：清初以前这里称兴贤坊，后来形成七个坊，合起来取名七坊。[1]

民国时期这里归城厢镇管辖，属兴隆保。建国初称七坊村，隶属城厢区。此后，1956年划入城厢镇，1958年编入城关公社，成为其中的七坊大队。1983年成立七坊村委会，隶属平川镇。[4]

2018年，七坊村改为七坊社区居民委员会，隶属平川街道。[1][4]
