平川街道是福建省龙岩市武平县下辖的街道，位于县域中南部，处在平川河中游的河谷盆地上，是武平县人民政府驻地。[1][2]

街道辖12个社区，原为平川镇，2019年改设街道办事处。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

唐开元二十四年（736年）这里设南安镇。南唐时，南安与武平镇一并合为武平场，场治在今中山镇。[2][5]

北宋淳化五年（994年），武平场升为武平县，县治自中山镇迁到此地。[2][4]

南宋初期此地已有土城墙，到明代弘治年间（1500年前后）才改为砖砌城墙。明清两代这里被叫作「在城里」，民国时又有「县城区」和「城厢镇」的说法。苏维埃时期此地归城厢区管辖，民国时期设有城关镇。[4]

1958年这里先是卫星公社，之后改为城关公社。1983年，城关公社辖下的红东、七坊、兴南、西厢（原称钢铁大队）、城南五个大队划出，另设平川镇。[4][6]

2019年，平川镇撤镇设立街道办事处，红东、七坊、兴南、城南、西厢五个村民委员会改为社区居民委员会，西门、北城两个社区则于2018年因辖区住宅开发新设。博雅地名网的历史沿革页另记为2018年11月6日设立平川街道。[1][3][5][6]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于县城一带的河谷盆地之中，平川河穿过街道，地名来源于此处地势平坦开阔，「一马平川」之意。[3][4]

平川河属梅江水系，是中山河的干流。[4]

文化[edit]

2009年9月，街道设立社区综合文化服务中心。[4]

2015年2月，中央文明委授予街道「第四届全国文明村镇」称号。2021年2月，街道列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

梁山书院建于清光绪十二年（1886年），知县唐志燮主持募建，选址在原漳南道公馆的旧址上。民国初年县议会设于此地。[7][14]

1930年6月，毛泽东率红四军进入武平，驻在梁山书院，指导中共武平县委与县苏维埃政府的工作，书院因此成为「红四军前敌委员会旧址」。2009年，省政府把该旧址列为第七批省级文物。[7][13]

梁山书院现为武平县博物馆所在地。该馆成立于1986年，馆藏既有古代器物，也有革命文物。[8]

武平文博园选址于西厢村，园区占地104亩，馆内分设五处展区：刘亚楼将军纪念馆、海峡两岸客家艺术馆、情缘馆（知青馆），另有武平历史博物馆与中央苏区（武平）纪念馆。景区定级为国家3A级旅游景区。[2][9][10]

红东李氏宗祠位于红东社区，俗称蛇形祠堂，始建于明代，清代与民国时期多次重修，占地2160平方米。[11]

崇真观位于红东社区的崇真巷，始建于明洪武十三年（1380年），明嘉靖年间及清代多次维修，现存建筑为清代风格。[2][12]
