彩坑村在上杭县珊瑚乡境内，紧邻汀江，是金山电站的主要移民村之一。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：村中小溪两岸林木葱郁，远望如五彩缤纷，故称彩坑。[1]
民国时属彩坑保。新中国成立后，村里设珊瑚村彩坑农会分会，1952年归平安区珊瑚乡管辖，1956年组建前进高级社。1958年公社化后隶属官庄公社前进大队，1984年改为官庄乡彩坑村民委员会，1987年划归珊瑚乡。[3]
村辖彩坑、三潭头2个自然村，共4个村民小组，村委会驻彩坑自然村。[3]
移民与水域[edit]
金山电站建设时，部分村民迁居上杭县城区，至今仍有人在城区长住。[1]
金山电站水库蓄水后，在村境形成300多亩的库湾，使村庄有了水乡风貌。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2012年10月，彩坑村被福建省环境保护厅授予「省级生态村」称号。[2]
