曾泗村位于官庄畲族乡东南部，濒临汀江，东侧与才溪镇溪西村相接，地处偏远，是少数民族村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明初开基时，人们见鸡垄寨岽形似一张捕鱼网，当地话称渔网为“罾”，村名便叫曾子坑。清初人口渐多，村子西面临汀江，北有徐坑溪，南有温屋溪，两溪都汇入汀江，于是改称曾泗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明初有人在此开基，清代归平安里，民国时称曾泗保。[1] 1949年后定名曾泗村，1956年组建曾泗高级社。[1] 1958年公社化，改为官庄公社曾泗大队。[1] 1984年设官庄乡曾泗村民委员会，1988年起改为官庄畲族乡的曾泗村民委员会。[1]
