璜头村位于官庄畲族乡西南部，地处偏远，居民以少数民族为主，四面环山。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清代此地山林收入较多，原称银头，后改称璜头，地名也因位于村头而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归平安里，民国期间叫璜头保。[1] 解放初的1949年，本地设璜头村农会，隶博爱乡。[1] 1956年组成璜头高级社，1958年公社化后称官庄公社璜头大队。[1] 1984年改称官庄乡璜头村民委员会，1988年起称官庄畲族乡璜头村民委员会。[1]
