贵和村在官庄畲族乡西南部，与武平县的新化村相邻，山地多而耕地少。[1] 村名原作贵湖，因村中贵湖庵门前有一湖而得名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1954年，高屋、林屋圩下、屋背岭三个居住点合办一个初级农业社，取名三和社，后更名为贵和，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，此地叫贵湖村，民国时设贵和保，清代属平安里。[2] 1956年曾设贵和高级社，1958年公社化后设贵和大队，隶官庄公社。[2] 1984年设官庄乡贵和村民委员会，1988年起改属畲族乡的贵和村民委员会，共辖11个自然村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域山林面积1万余亩，竹林2000亩，耕地1372亩。[1][3] 年平均气温19.1℃，全年无霜期约300天，年降雨量1600至1900毫米，属亚热带季风气候。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村里有10个村民小组，总人口420户1718人，党员44名，未注明年份。[1][3]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会在2022年12月把本村定为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
