福泉村位于官庄畲族乡的西南片，村名因村中的天然泉水福泉井而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此村原名钟屋，因多数居民姓钟而得名。1941年，村名改用天然泉水福泉井的名字，称为福泉。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代本地属平安里，民国时设福泉保。[2] 解放后的1949年先称福泉村，1956年组成福泉高级社。[2] 1958年公社化，此地的一支民兵队伍称官庄公社福泉连（民兵建制），1961年改称福泉大队。[2] 1984年起为官庄乡的福泉村民委员会，1988年改属官庄畲族乡。[2]

地理环境[edit]

山体面积3980余亩，耕地则为900亩。[1] 村中有千年古井福泉井，附近有天井湖，两者山水相连。[1]

人口民族[edit]

常住人口1730人，未注明年份。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号。[1]

2023年12月，本村入选「龙岩市2023年度乡村振兴示范村镇」名单。[1] 2024年2月，本村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1] 2024年6月，本村被认定为「上杭县2024年县级“一村一品”专业村」，类别为休闲农业。[1]
