朱堡村属官庄畲族乡的乡中心区。[1] 明初此地称朱子坑。清末，因四周高山环绕村子，形如碉堡，而山上蕴藏着石灰石，取谐音改名朱堡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代本地隶平安里，民国时称朱堡保。[2] 1958年公社化后归官庄公社的一个管理区，次年改称朱堡大队。[2] 1984年村建制得以恢复，归官庄乡管辖；1988年后改属官庄畲族乡的朱堡村民委员会，下辖3个自然村、6个村民小组。[2]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月，授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号。[1]
