元康村是福建省龙岩市上杭县泮境乡南部的行政村，位于乡境南端，是泮境乡的南大门[1]。村落距乡政府约5公里，距县城约30公里，平均海拔440米[1]。

地理与产业[edit]

全村辖9个村民小组、3个自然村[1][2]。村中种植红柿、青梅、毛竹和烤烟，另有黄土鸡养殖[2]。

红色历史[edit]

元康村属革命基点村[4]，土地革命时期有六十余名青壮年参加红军，据百度百科所载，村中现存29名革命烈士[2]。村内的伍洪祥故居与革命斗争史陈列室，是本村的红色教育基地[1][2]。

人物[edit]

政治人物伍洪祥出生于本村，故居位于红心组，建于清代，为二层土木结构楼房，占地110平方米，是上杭县文物保护单位[1][3]。
