地名由来[edit]
黄姓先民迁居于此，村名遂为黄坊。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，明代洪武年以前已有江、何、陈等姓氏在此开基。清代属胜运里，民国设黄坊保，1949年归东一区庐丰区。1956年建黄坊农业高级社，1958年转入红旗公社称大队，1965年仍为大队。1984年成为庐丰乡黄坊村民委员会，1988年改为畲族乡黄坊村民委员会。[3]
村中自然村有石园里、梅溪、白莲塘等，村委驻石园里。[3]
2021年9月，黄坊村入选第二批全国乡村治理示范村名单；2025年3月，黄坊村获得「第七届全国文明村镇」称号。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村605户，2353人，辖19个村民小组（博雅地名网，年份未注）。耕地1879亩，劳动力资源丰富。[2]
产业以粮食、烤烟、生猪为主，烤烟是村财与农户增收的主要来源。村中兴建过水电站和焊剂厂。[2]
