下科村位于茶地镇东部，村民居住比较集中，村内建有双溪电站。[1][3]

得名[edit]

村旁有上下两个山窠，居民住在下面的山窠里，俗称下窠。「窠」与「科」读音相近，故名下科。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期属茶境乡。1949年解放初为茶境区下科村，1953年属东一区，1956年设下科高级社，1958年公社化后称红旗公社下科大队，1961年改属庐丰工委茶地公社，1984年成立下科村民委员会，隶茶地乡；2015年起隶茶地镇。[2]

村辖下科1个自然村、3个村民小组。[2]
