三益村是下都镇东南角的行政村，位于汀江河畔，毗邻龙岩永定，属省定革命据点村。[1]

村庄原名象蹄坑村。旧时上象蹄坑、下象蹄坑与岩头寨三处曾合并管理，遂取名三益。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属来苏里，土地革命时建立过红色政权，民国时归龙文乡河坑保。解放初设三益村农会分会，列入第十二区联河乡；1954年并入新联乡，1956年归联河农业高级社。[2]

1958年公社化，编入东风公社联河大队。1959年，三益与豪康、璜溪划开，单设三益大队，隶属中都公社；1961年改归中都工委下都公社。1965年并入中都公社的联河大队，1968年属其革领组。[2]

1972年再次划出，设三益大队革领组；1980年改为管委会。1984年为中都乡三益村民委员会；1986年随下都改属下都乡，此后称下都乡三益村民委员会，2015年改乡为镇。[2]

村辖上象蹄坑、下象蹄坑两个自然村，共2个村民小组，村委会驻地在下象蹄坑。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村庄距原乡政府所在地15公里，是原乡内较为边远的山区小行政村。[1]

文化[edit]

刘永生将军、蓝汉华曾在此浴血奋战，并长期生活居住。[1]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，把「2022年福建省卫生村」的称号授予本村。[1]
