璜溪村是下都镇东北部的行政村，地处汀江河畔，是棉花滩水电站库区的淹没村。[1][2]

相传开村的人姓黄，村名因此而来。[1] 据上杭县人民政府网，村庄为华东丘氏的发源地，清代爱国诗人丘逢甲的祖居地。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属来苏里。土地革命时，璜坑自然村建立过红色政权。民国时归龙文乡，称璜溪保。解放初设农会分会，列入第十二区（来苏区）；1954年并入新联乡。[3]

1956年改设璜溪农业高级社。1958年公社化后编入东风公社联河大队；1959年，本村与豪康、三益划开，成为中都公社的璜溪大队。1961年改归中都工委下都公社。1965年，三村又合为联河大队，同属中都公社。[3]

1968年设革领组；1972年再次划出，设璜溪大队革领组；1980年改管委会。1984年为中都乡璜溪村民委员会，1986年随下都改属下都乡；2015年改乡为镇后归下都镇。[3]

村辖璜溪、侯坑、竹园里三个自然村，共8个村民小组，村委会驻地在璜溪。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村子东边邻接稔田镇，北边与庐丰乡扶洋村相接，西隔一条水与中都镇相望。小溪由村中穿过，房屋依溪而建。[1]

经济[edit]

库区网箱养殖已成为村民收入的主要来源，村中有四十户家庭投资库湾网箱养殖，另有近三十户从事捕虾。博雅地名网称，村为上杭黄笋干的主产地之一，并产绿竹及其加工品。[2]

文化[edit]

丘逢甲（1864—1912）据博雅地名网所载，为上杭中都黄坑丘六十郎第二十一世裔孙。[2] 1907年春，丘逢甲回到祖居地黄坑（今璜溪村）寻根谒祖。[4]

2021年1月，村庄获评「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，村庄被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]
