砂睦村是下都镇下辖的行政村，东与佛坑村、象栏村相接，西与保安村及广东省蕉岭县南寨镇的洋山村毗邻，南与和睦村接壤。[1][2]

村庄原称砂埔村，因耕地多沙质而得名；后村民睦邻相处，改称砂睦。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属来苏里，民国时属龙文乡，设砂埔保。解放初设砂睦村，列入第十三区；1952年，本村与保安、和睦两村并为砂睦乡；1956年改组为砂睦农业高级社。[3]

1958年公社化，编入东风公社，称砂睦大队；1959年起改由中都公社领导，1961年由中都工委下都公社管辖。1965年随四社合并，归入中都公社。1984年为中都乡砂睦村民委员会。1986年，本村随下都从中都乡分出，保安、和睦两村先后从本村划出；2015年改乡为镇后，本村更名为下都镇砂睦村民委员会。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村中两条溪流在此汇合，村民沿双溪两岸居住。村中有石拱桥、平板桥等二十五座，故有「桥村」之称。村中辖区内有石英石等矿产资源。[2]

经济[edit]

村中种烤烟、沙田柚，多数养猪户配建沼气池，推行「猪沼果」生态种养模式。村中还出产奇兰茶、梅占茶等，「砂睦手工团籽茶」为村中特产之一。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有客家古民居渊泉居，据上杭县人民政府网，它是镇内两处客家古民居之一。[4]

文化[edit]

2021年6月，砂睦村列入「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单。龙岩市农业农村局于2021年10月认定本村为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」（沙田柚）；福建省爱卫办2021年11月命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

福建省农业农村厅在2022年12月把本村定为「2022年度福建省一村一品专业村」（沙田柚）；2026年1月，村庄被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

2003年以来，村民连续被上级审验定为信用村。2023年1月和2024年1月，村庄先后获评「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」和「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[2]
