寨背山村是上杭县太拔镇南部的边远山区村，地处海拔1447.2米的茫荡洋山脚下，距镇政府18千米。村子与大地、上村、鲜水坑等村相邻，山林资源丰富，毛竹较多。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地隶属胜运里，民国时设寨背山保。1956年组成寨背山高级社，1958年实行公社化，此后设寨背山大队。[2]
1984年改称太拔乡寨背山村民委员会，2014年改称太拔镇寨背山村民委员会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月授予寨背山村「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
