崇厦村是上杭县太拔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境东北部，东北面与溪口镇的当丰、大丰两村相接，距镇政府约5千米。全村辖7个村民小组，村委会驻崇厦自然村。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是此地旧时曾建有高楼大厦。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地隶属胜运里，民国时为星聚乡的崇睦保。1949年解放初称崇丰村，属星太区；1952年设崇丰乡。1958年公社化后设崇厦大队，1961年归太拔工委太拔公社领导，1965年随太拔公社仍称崇厦大队。[2]
1984年改称太拔乡崇厦村民委员会，2014年改称太拔镇崇厦村民委员会。村内辖崇厦、梁面上新村、坑背新村三个自然村。[2]
自然环境[edit]
村境群山环绕，黄潭河支流穿村而过，境内建有两座水电站，水力资源较为丰富。原生态植被保存良好，据博雅地名网所载，森林覆盖率为86%。[3]
人口民族[edit]
崇厦村是镇内两个畲族村之一，村中有畲族居民，全村辖152户。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2023年1月，崇厦村被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
