双华村位于溪口镇西部，距镇政府约5千米，东邻大丰村，北接大厚村。村名取自双溪铺、华地科两个自然村名的首字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代隶属胜运里，土地革命时期此地设双华乡苏维埃；民国时为双华保。1949年后设农会分会，归第五区。1950年改设双溪乡，1952年又改回双华乡，1953年归星太区；1956年成立友爱农业高级社，1958年公社化后称爱国公社双华大队。1984年改称溪口乡双华村民委员会，2013年改称溪口镇双华村民委员会。[2]

村内有7个自然村、6个村民小组，村委驻地设在白石笏。[2]

地理环境[edit]

全村现有人口927人，耕地861亩，山林9252亩，其中竹林5500亩，约占山林的六成（博雅地名网，年份未注）。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，双华村经省爱卫办评定，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
