大洋坝村在溪口镇东南部，处在上杭、新罗、永定三地的交界处，距镇政府约5千米。博雅地名网称开国中将罗舜初是本村人，村内的红色交通线史迹诒燕楼也在此。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

地名的来历：明代，斋公窝山因洪水冲击而崩塌，此地变为溪坝，日出时阳光普照，故名太阳坝，后谐音称大洋坝。[1]

清代隶属胜运里，土地革命时期此地设太阳乡苏维埃，民国时为大洋保，归第二区。1949年以后先设农会分会，归第五区；1950年设大洋乡，1953年划归星太区。1958年，此地随公社化称爱国公社明朗大队；1961年改属太拔工委大洋坝公社管理区。1984年改为溪口乡下的大洋坝村民委员会，2013年改为镇属村委会。[2]

土地革命时期，本村是红色交通线的站点之一。据上杭县人民政府网站，境内的鸳鸯楼也曾是红色交通站。[4]

地理环境[edit]

村子的东侧挨着陈屋与锦坊，南侧与太拔乡接连，西侧连着大厚村，北侧靠石铭村。海拔300米，村域山林约23000亩，耕地约2300亩（博雅地名网，年份未注）。[1]

据上杭县人民政府网站，村内峨益自然村一带有温泉。[4]

村民种植水稻，也种芦柑、烤烟，并有生猪养殖户。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

红色交通线史迹诒燕楼位于峨益一路，占地约1200平方米，主座坐东南朝西北。原布局称「穿心走马楼」「九厅十八井」，主座下厅面阔三间，进深五柱。[1]

著名人物[edit]

开国中将罗舜初（1914～1981）是本村人，博雅地名网称大洋坝为他的故乡。[3]
