锦坊村位于溪口镇东南部，村部距镇政府约18千米，是一个革命基点村。村名原称井楻，1929年改称锦坊。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
从高峰牵牛岭俯瞰，此地地形像一口井的木构井架，原称井楻。1929年大革命时期，为求雅驯，改称锦坊。[1]
清代隶属胜运里。土地革命时期此地设锦坊乡苏维埃，民国时称锦坊保，归第二区。新中国成立后归第五区，1953年划入星太区；1956年成立农业高级社，1958年随公社化改称爱国公社锦坊大队。1984年起为溪口乡下的村民委员会，2013年改为镇属村委会。[2]
2006年以前，全村有四个自然村，共288户、1168人（博雅地名网，年份未注）。上锦坊因地质灾害，于2006年起分期搬迁，到2010年共迁出147户、526人，其余部分自然村也陆续迁出，现在村域分散，横跨三县（区）。[3]
地理环境[edit]
村庄依山傍水，呈长条形分布，穿村的小河是黄潭河的主要支流。村域蕴藏锰铁矿，并有红夏杉、银杏、檀木等树种。耕地约820亩，山林约19000亩，毛竹林占10600亩（年份未注）。[3]
经济[edit]
村民靠山吃山，看管松、杉、竹等林木，出产毛竹与竹笋。全村有手工土纸加工户60余户，农作物以水稻、花生、烤烟为主，养殖则以生猪为主。九洲自然村是乡里较早种植烤烟的地方，80年代起即有种植。[3]
文化[edit]
2022年12月，锦坊村经福建省爱国卫生运动委员会评定，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。2024年1月，村庄获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
