新坊村位于湖洋镇南片，与湖洋、濑溪、五坊、龙山等村相邻，村内有小泮、小迳两个自然村，是一个少数民族村。[1]

概况[edit]

全村有林地约5700亩，耕地约1040亩，318户、1358人（统计年份未注明），其中约30多户已搬迁到集镇，10多户迁入城区。全村辖13个村民小组。[1]

村中的少数民族约500余人，合计占全村人口37%，多集中于小泮。村里有党员41名，其中女党员8名，预备党员1名；党员平均年龄偏大，多在50岁以上。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，新坊村获「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予新坊村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
