碧田村是湖洋镇下辖的行政村，位于上杭县西部，毗邻汀江，在涧头电站的上游。村内旧有八个土墩，明代称作八墩沙，此后写作碧田沙，简称碧田。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地设为碧田保。1949年解放初，碧田一带属信和区碧田乡。1956年成立民主高级社，1958年公社化后称湖洋公社碧田大队。[2][4]

1961年一度划归寨背公社，1965年又回到湖洋公社，村名仍为碧田大队。1984年改为湖洋乡碧田村民委员会，2013年改属湖洋镇。[2][4]

村委会驻地在碧田沙自然村，村下辖龙头、上黄屋、碧田、林大坑四个自然村，共14个村民小组。[2]

人口与生计[edit]

村民以钟姓为主。据博雅地名网，全村约380多户、1400多人，党员43人，统计年份未注明。[1]

因靠近矿区，部分村民在附近矿山或邻县矿区务工，也有人在本村一位企业家的公司上班，另有人从事泥水工。全村耕地约1000亩，多数只种单季稻。[1]

荣誉[edit]

碧田村在2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2021年1月，碧田村获「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]
