迳美村是旧县镇下辖的行政村，位于县城北部，距县城20公里，距镇政府10公里，坐落在紫金山一带。[1]

村名的来历：古时称金山迳里，后改称迳里。1929年后，因上杭名山紫金山的美名，改称迳美。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

土地革命时期村子属旧县区苏迳美乡苏，民国时为三益乡的迳美保。解放后曾归梅溪乡迳美村农会；1953年划入附城区，改称迳美乡；1956年设迳美高级社。[3]

公社化时，村子编入城郊公社的迳美连；1959年回归旧县公社，称迳美大队。1961年改属梅溪公社，1965年又并回旧县公社。此后1966年起归红岩公社，1984年改为旧县乡迳美村民委员会，2012年改称旧县镇迳美村民委员会。[3]

地理环境与经济[edit]

全村林地12333亩，耕地1415亩，共348户，辖10个村民小组，村民以农业为主，兼营种养殖。[1][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子所在的紫金山海拔1000多米，山峰陡峭。山间有灵山顶、龙井、出风岩等地，另有燕子岩，以及仙人桥与仙人镜两处。[1]

历史人文[edit]

据博雅地名网，红军时期将领翁祥初是迳美村人，一生为人清廉，声名远扬。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2024年1月，迳美村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[2]
