历史沿革[edit]
村子旧属蛟洋乡管辖。始祖张观史原居龙岩、红坊下洋村一带，明正统四年（1439年）迁来此地定居。[1]
1963年，福村大队由华家公社划入旧县公社。1966年改称红岩公社福村大队，1971年复为旧县公社，1984年改为旧县乡福村民委员会，2012年改称旧县镇福村民委员会。[2]
地理环境与经济[edit]
村子水口有500多亩的原始森林，村中有古树罗汉松1棵，毛竹林5000余亩。村中还有传统的土纸手工业，出产红菇等土特产。[1]
