新坊村是福建省龙岩市上杭县旧县镇下辖的行政村，位于镇境东南部，地处旧白公路中段。村子离旧县集镇和205国道各约10公里，与白砂镇下早康村相接。[1]

村名的来历是此地原有新坊圩，即一处集市。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

土地革命时期，村子划在旧县区的苏维埃政权之下，民国时设为新乡的新坊保。1949年解放初成立旧县区新坊村农会，1953年改为新坊乡，1956年设新坊高级社，一度并入白砂区。[2]

1958年公社化后称旧县公社新坊营，1961年改称新坊公社新坊大队，1964年又并入旧县公社，1966年改属红岩公社。1971年复归旧县公社，1984年改为旧县乡新坊村民委员会，2012年改为旧县镇新坊村民委员会。[2]

地理环境与经济[edit]

村中耕地1003亩，山林13650亩，其中毛竹林约3000亩，木材约3万立方米，毛竹约100万根。村民以林业为主，另种烤烟，并有人培植香菇等食用菌。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村342户、1368人，姓氏以李、邓、陈、邱、谢等五大姓为主，有党员54名。以上数字据博雅地名网所载，未注明统计年份。[1]

历史人文[edit]

村子是上杭县64个革命基点村之一。革命战争年代村中有78人参加革命，其中49人牺牲为烈士，现健在的失散老红军有1人。[1]

据百度百科，老红军邓六金是新坊村人，1934年参加中国工农红军。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

红色交通线接头点旧址（通济庵）位于本村，为上杭县文物保护单位。这座庵在1931年至1934年间成为中央红色交通线的接头点。[5]
