文都村是上杭县蛟洋镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北部，四周群山环绕。村名原作黄土斜，据传因山上黄泥颜色深黄而得名；1929年土地革命时期，地方人士认为该名庸俗，改为谐音的文都斜，后简称文都[1]。
