香塔村位于福建省龙岩市上杭县南阳镇北部，距集镇约13公里，海拔570米，有香塔、短甲、胡背三个自然村。[1]

全村184户、733人，党员28名。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村名由来：原村中有一座小塔，内安社公神，村民到此烧香敬神，故名香塔。[1]

全村面积约10平方千米，耕地392亩，林地约1.29万亩，全村年平均气温约17摄氏度，为博雅地名网所载，未注明年份。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村184户、733人，党员28名，为博雅地名网所载，未注明年份。人口由黄、邹、张、阙四姓构成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

约400至600多年前，张氏自连城迁入开基。[2]

民国时期此地为香塔保，归长汀县三平区；解放初改称香塔村，隶属南上乡，1956年组织香塔高级社。[2]

1958年1月才划入上杭县，隶属三平区黄罗乡；同年10月公社化，成为南阳公社的香塔大队。1984年后改为南阳乡的香塔村民委员会，1988年起改属南阳镇。[2]
