才溪村位于才溪集镇附近，是全镇面积最大、人口最多的村庄，国道205线穿境而过，才溪河流经村内。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历与镇名相关：此地先称柴溪，后因溪中漂来一片青菜而称菜溪，再称才溪。社教运动后，由两个相邻村子合并设立大队；因人口最多、烈军属最多，经公社党委研究，定名才溪村。[1]

土地革命时期，本村是才溪农民暴动的发源地之一，建立了红色政权，许多青壮年参加了红军。1934年，福建省苏维埃政府曾迁至村中林地办公。[1][2]

著名人物[edit]

百度百科称，村内出了刘忠（中将）、王集成等开国将领，原福建省委副书记林开钦则出生于本村。博雅地名网称，革命战争时期本村涌现出刘忠、王集成等人。[2][1]

经济[edit]

百度百科称，村中经济以建筑业为主导，多数青壮年男子从事该行业；主要种植脐橙、烤烟等作物。[2]

文化[edit]

2025年3月，才溪村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。才溪村还入选「第二批国家森林乡村」，相关名单于2019年12月由国家林业和草原局公布。2021年11月，村庄获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年2月，村庄入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2021年1月与2024年1月，先后被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
