下才村位于才溪镇西南部，紧邻镇中心，与才溪村隔溪相望。镇上的毛泽东才溪乡调查纪念馆、光荣亭与列宁台都在本村境内。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取其地处才溪镇下方，也指位于才溪溪的下方。村中有发坑、樟坑两个自然村。民国时，此地分属培才保与扶良保，部分属溪西保。[1]

解放初归第九区的才溪区，1951年设下才乡，1956年入下才农业高级社。1958年公社化后称才溪公社下才大队；1961年分为发坑、樟坑两个大队，1965年两大队合并，仍称下才大队。[1]

政府网站称，毛泽东在才溪调查期间，亲自为一处村庄改名「发坑村」；博雅地名网下才村条目则称，改名前的旧名为「衰坑村」。[4][1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「毛泽东才溪乡调查纪念馆」设在本村。该馆的雏形是1956年开始筹建的才溪革命纪念馆；1971年更名为「毛主席才溪乡调查纪念馆」，1980年定为现名。馆内设两处调查会址（才溪区苏维埃政府、区工会）。[5][6]

光荣亭位于本村，1933年始建，1934年被毁，1955年按原貌重建，国家于2013年将其纳入全国重点文物保护单位。原碑残件藏于纪念馆。[3][8]

列宁台位于本村的马道坝，建于1930年4月，为纪念列宁诞辰六十周年，由才溪人民修建。博雅地名网称该台在2013年被列为全国重点文物保护单位。[7]

光荣亭与列宁台都属于毛泽东才溪乡调查旧址群，县政府文件将二者列为国家级文物保护单位。[9]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，下才村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。2021年2月，村庄被司法部、民政部公布为「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，下才村获福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2023年1月和2024年1月，分别被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
